OPTIMIZED FOR TRUCK CAPABILITY
Selecting the correct truck/camper combination depends a lot on how much weight your truck can handle. That figure can normally be found in the truck glove box or door jamb. The Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) will also tell you how much weight your truck can handle.
You can usually find your camper’s certified weight label on the back of the camper, where the total weight is listed and includes all standard equipment such as fridge, furnace, stove, jacks etc. Options/Accessories are not included on the certified weight labels, but each option weight is listed for every model so you have a great idea of what your camper will weigh with the options you decide on. Every Northstar features a reinforced frame, galvanized steel corners and our famous screwed together assembly that make our truck campers last longer.
